Terryn Westbrook grew up a military brat, living all over the world from Japan to Mississippi. After studying theatre and electronic music at University of South Florida and Middlesex University in London, Terryn headed to Los Angeles where she began popping up in music videos, print ads and commercials, all the while moonlighting as a club d.j. and vocalist for various electronic music acts, including Photocall and Reverse Commuter.
A chance encounter with David Lynch led to a role in his most recent feature film, “Inland Empire”. Since then, Terryn has gone on to appear on several hit television shows including House, Parks and Recreation, Weeds, Gilmore Girls, and How I Met Your Mother, independent films “Congratulations” and “Four Boxes” and over 100 national commercials and ad campaigns. Most recent credits include Jane the Virgin, NCIS:LA, The Fosters, Bones, The Middle, This is Us, the reboot of One Day at Time on Netflix and national commercials for Chrysler, United Healthcare, Bank of America, Edward Jones and UPS.
Inspired by her own breech birth, and the breech home birth of her son, Terryn has become a fierce advocate for women’s birthing rights. She is also a proud member of the Alliance of Moms, whose mission is to break the intergenerational cycle of babies born to teens in foster care.
Terryn is a certified comedy instructor at Warner Loughlin Studios.
She lives in Eagle Rock with her musician husband and 3 year old son who currently identifies as a crab.
